Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s pie from the pastry episode. Turned out it was a horrible day for me to make pie. First I prepared too many potatoes so my stewing tray was filled to the brim (I already took out a couple for just baking). Afterwords, the fire alarm went off (no big problem) but it turned out the tray began overflowing with liquid, which was collecting on the bottom of the oven and burning. I turned off the oven and let it cool so I could clean it (which took a ton of effort) and the dirty water began leaking to the pan storage below, so I ended up washing those as well. Finally the puff pastry I bought wasn’t quite enough for the style I intended but I still used it. In the end the pie turned out quite nicely.
